From Coach Southern:

So proud of our team! We did not come away with the victory but the effort these girls gave tonight was epic. This team is different. They put up with me. Sometimes I’m over the top loud and critical and still not a bit of negativity comes from these girls. No top club or even rec experience and these girls were only down 1-0 at the half to one of the top teams in the state/region. They kept the tradition alive and that is something they can be proud of.. 15 years straight of qualifying for playoffs for South Hills Girls Soccer.

The Silver Dancers competed at MA Dance Nationals at the University of Texas at Arlington this weekend. We attended the competition for the experience, and they ended up walking away as Grand National Champions in their division!!! This is huge for these students, our program, our school, and our district!

The dancers said they had a fun experience and they really stepped up their performances this weekend. Winning just made the experience that much more memorable! This is only the 5th year South Hills has ever competed. I am so proud of this group of dancers who have worked hard not only in dance, but with their academics and servant leadership. We had a couple teams from San Antonio, a team from Houston, and a team from East Texas in our division.
