Information for Year-Long Digital Learners Only

Parents of Digital Learners,

We are excited to have you and your student(s) as a part of the Mountain Park family. Even though your child's teacher is not housed at Mountain Park, we will communicate monthly via the Mountain Park eNewsletter. I am attaching a GCPS frequently asked questions document. I have added all Mountain Park information in red. Don't hesitate to call us if you have questions.

Big picture

Instructional Materials & Chromebooks

We have created a bag of instructional materials for each digital student, based on their grade level. These materials can be picked up from the Mountain Park office.

If needed, digital students can check out a Chromebook or hotspot from Mountain Park. Simply call school at 770.921.2224 and tell us your child needs a device. We will give you a date and time to pick it up.

Student Password Reset

On July 23, 2021, your student’s password will be reset to reflect their birthday. To access the student portal, your student will be required to type their numeric birthday in the password field using two digits for their birth month, two digits for their birthday, and four digits for their birth year. For example, if your student’s birth occurred on June 9, 2015, their reset password would be 06092015. Students in Grades K-5 will retain their birthdate password for the first six weeks of school. After Labor Day, K-5 students will be provided a unique passphrase as their password. More information on how to access an elementary student’s unique passphrase will be provided during the first few weeks of school. The privacy and security of the information belonging to our students, families, and employees is a strategic priority and we appreciate your support in the district’s efforts.

MyPaymentsPlus allows parents to pay for contributions and activities and sign orientation documents. All parents must sign the orientation forms. Two documents have been created to assist you with completing this process. If you need additional assistance, you can contact the school.
