Google Classroom

All teachers are posting daily assignments to Google Classroom. These are assignments that students are doing in class on a daily basis. Most of these assignments are completed in class, but if students don't finish their assignments in class, they are expected to complete them at home.

If your student is absent for an extended period of time, they are able to check Google Classroom and keep up on their assignments.

Have your student show you how to access Google Classroom so you can see what they are working on in class!

Extended Absences

If your student is absent for an extended period of time, please request classwork from your teacher(s). We are doing our best to have classwork ready for your within two school days of your request. All materials will be available at the front office.

Also make sure your student is checking Google Classroom for daily assignments.

CARE Expectations

Coloma Intermediate's schoolwide expectations for student behavior follow the acronym CARE. It stands for:

  • Come ready to learn
  • Always respectful
  • Responsible
  • Exceptionally safe
Expectations for the hallway, bathrooms, cafeteria, playground, arrival, and dismissal are posted throughout the school. We teach the expectations and review them throughout the school year. Students also earn CARE tickets when they follow the expectations. The office does a ticket drawing where students pick a prize from the CARE Box.
