The Economic Connection

The United States and Canada as a whole, share the world's largest trading bilateral relashionship.The U.S invests stocks primarily with Canada. The amount of goods and services going across the boders goes well over 2 billion dollars daily. The recent peak was 1.4 trillion in total trades!

The Social Connection

About 300,000 people travel with many types of transportation across the U.S-Canadian border each day! The two countries have many people that travel for many things such as job opportunities, tourism, and shopping for many services. There are also many different cultural influences within the border.

Political

For about 200 years the United States and Canada have maintained allies and a friendly relationship. The two countries cooperate to resolve issues on a number of things (such as the environment and water issues). The two countries work together in all sorts of areas going from federal to as little as local buisnesses. The U.S and Canada are also in many forces of security and defense. (such as NATO)
