CPS Celebrates
#GoodNewsCalloftheDay
Three second graders, Preston, Whitney, and Dylan earned good news calls for hard work and leadership! Thanks so much for recognizing their hard work!
Lyla, a third grade student, earned a reward this week because she worked hard to meet her goal! She even self-reflected thanks to her teacher, and it paid off!
Board Breakfast
It was so nice to come and see everyone enjoying the board breakfast on Thursday! Thanks to Laura Cotner for organizing the breakfast, and thanks to our teachers and staff who work hard each day!
Barnes and Noble Bookfair
Thanks to all of you who donated time at the Barnes and Noble Bookfair Saturday! This is a great fundraiser for our district, and we couldn’t do it without all of your help!
CPI Training
Thanks to everyone who attended CPI Training! Having an in-house initial CPI Training have attemdees the opportunity to talk through scenarios! We are hopeful for the opportunity to offer these types of trainings at Central in the future!
Data Meetings
Please check the schedule for your data meetings. Remember to choose three students for the DESSA screener so you can complete it during your meeting. If you would like to choose a student with an IEP, make sure a special education teacher has not also chosen that student.
Don’t forget...
There’s no doubt about it...this is a crazy time of year. Our students are excited, and they are showing us that by making choices they typically wouldn’t. Many of us are overwhelmed with shopping, still trying to get that Santa visit in (just me?), and trying to plan a memorable holiday season for our own families.
As you try to make it through this week, this is just a reminder to enjoy it. Will this be your most productive teaching week? Doubtful. But, this is a great week to deepen the relationships with your students!
Track Coach Wanted
We are still in need of two track coaches for the upcoming track season! Please let Mr. Hoelscher know if you're interested!
