Library News
It's Oregon Battle of the Books season. We have seven teams in 4th and 5th grades who have read a total of 16 books to prepare for a quiz style battle of the books. Teams compete against each other to answer questions from the list of 16 books. It's a lot of reading and big time commitment. These students should be proud of their effort and commitment. On February 28 and March 1st, these students will battle each other during school. The winning team will represent our school on March 9th against other area schools. Good Luck Raleigh Hills.
Read Across America: Dr Seuss' birthday, March 2, is a day to recognize the importance of reading. We will be celebrating the entire week of March 4-8 with guest readers in the library and our classrooms. The public libraries will have special programs for kids and students of all ages to celebrate. Do your own celebration at home.
