NOVEMBER 7 ELECTION - WHAT'S ON THE BALLOT
5 School Board Members
On the November 7 election, CCA will be asking voters to vote for 5 board members.
On October 24 there will be a candidate public forum at the High School Performing Arts Center at 6:00 PM. September 21 at 5pm is the deadline for candidates to turn in paperwork.
PPEL - The Physical Plant and Equipment Levy
On the November 7 election the Clear Creek Amana Community School District Board of Education is seeking a voter renewal of the tax levy used as the primary annual revenue source to maintain and repair district facilities and equipment repairs, purchases and improvements. The current levy expires in 2025 so voters are being asked to renew the existing funding source for another 10 years. Renewing the Levy Will Not Increase the Property Tax Rate.
Voters approve PPEL in 10 year increments and it is currently at $.67 per $1,000 of assessed valuation of the taxable property within the school district. The district is asking voters to approve the same amount ($.67/$1,000) for another 10 years.
