What is a Paramecium?
A Paramecium is a unicellular protozoan in the phylum Ciliophora. You can usually find them in quiet ponds, or stagnant basins.They move by very tiny hair-like projections called cilia. A Paramecium feeds on algae scum and other microorganisms. Silcce they have cilla, they will most likely be in a water habitat.
