Dear friends,

On Thursday, September 19, William Lipscomb Elementary PTA will be participating in the 11th annual North Texas Giving Day, a one-day online giving extravaganza!

Last year, the Communities Foundation of Texas brought together more than 2,700 organizations to celebrate North Texas Giving Day and raise $48 million. We invite you to help us reach and exceed our goal of $10,000 on September 19th.

William Lipscomb Elementary School is the neighborhood school for Old East Dallas including the historic districts of Munger Place, Junius Heights, and Swiss Avenue. We are excited to see the communities of Old East Dallas getting behind this great little neighborhood school! All monies collected through donations are put directly back into our campus instructional and safety needs. In 2018, we utilized your charitable donations to improve safety on our campus. We installed a Lock Blok for each door on our campus, allowing teachers and students to minimize distractions while ensuring their safety. That was a wonderful way to show our families and staff at our school that we put safety first and will continue to work to improve campus life at our school.

This year, we are committed to providing our teachers with the best resources to enrich instruction in their classrooms. Our goal: Let’s Dream Bigger!

Help us Make Our Dream a Reality!

We encourage you to donate and help us reach our $10,000 goal. Every penny counts! If you are not available to donate on September 19th, you can schedule your gift in advance between September 9 and September 18.

Let’s Get the Ball Rolling!

Share the news of your donation with your friends and loved ones, and encourage them to make a donation of their own. Remind them that when we help our PTA, we help all of Lipscomb’s students. Tag us at #NTXGivingDay, #LipscombLions if you’re posting online!

Go Lions!

Follow and to stay up to date on our progress.
