Need to Know Info...

Title 1: Thorntown is a Title 1 school, which means we receive federal funding to support student literacy toward meeting academic standards. We are required to provide information about our programming to parents each year, so please click here to view our brief overview of the program. Contact us with any questions along the way.

Kindergarten News: Due to the generous support of the Greater Jamestown Area Fund, WBCCSC has been afforded the opportunity to assist in opening 529 college savings plans for students as they start their academic careers. Specifically, for those who complete the necessary steps, WBCCSC will deposit $100.00 in the account established for your child at the completion of kindergarten. Click here to get registered.

eLearning: September 22 will be the first of three planned eLearning days this school year. WBCCSC staff will participate in training and professional development activities on these days. Please note students will participate remotely on these days. Devices will come home and assignments will be posted by 5PM the day before each eLearning Day. Teachers will hold office hours from 1:30-3:00 each eLearning day to assist with questions from students.

Girl Scouts: Registration Night information: 9/9 at the Lebanon Public Library or 9/14 at the Thorntown Public Library; Time: 6:00pm - 7:30pm

22 - eLearning Day - Students will participate remotely
