Aristotle's Six Components of Plays
In 335 B.C., Aristotle described the six elements of a play, and through the years, these have remained essential to drama. They are: plot, character, thought, diction / language, music and spectacle. While rehearsing for a play, students should focus on these elements as they relate to their characters and practice delivering their message accordingly.
