Student Daily Health Screener
As part of our efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, we are asking that parents complete a health screener daily before sending their students to school for any activity or program. If you answer yes to any of the questions, your student should not go to school that day and you should submit an absence form as well.
Parents are required to complete the Daily Health Check form in Infinite Campus each morning before their student is scheduled to be on campus for any activity or program.
Watch this quick video to learn how to access the Daily Health Screener from your phone or you can find it on this BVSD webpage.Creation Station News
Our annual CV book fair is back and it is better than ever. We will be hosting an online book fair supporting our local Boulder Bookstore February 16-25. You can shop in person at Boulder Book Store, on their website, or call the store and place an order over the phone. Just mention Crest View at checkout! Everything they sell counts toward our fair (including books for adults, puzzles, and even chocolate bars).
A small amount of each purchase comes back to our Crest View Creation Station for the purchase of new books.
To celebrate the fair, we will also have two author virtual spotlights throughout the week. Amy McCulloch, who will be promoting her new book Unleashed (sequel to Jinxed) and Joanna Ho, author of Eyes That Kiss in the Corners. Both books will be available to purchase during that week.
Please see attached flyer for more information.

Extended Absences
The Crest View administration and teachers have seen an increase in extended vacations for families recently and understand that many families need to do so for their family's well being.
Should a child take an extended vacation, we ask that you work with the classroom teacher to assign work through materials and for the students to refer to the Launch Day on SeeSaw and Schoology. Due to the teacher's in-person teaching responsibilities, they do not post daily assignments in SeeSaw or Schoology. The assigned work with hands on materials can keep the child in sync with the class.
As a staff, we agreed that the following student attendance practices will be followed:
If a student is not in attendance for non-medical reasons, the days away will be counted as an absence
Students that are sick should be kept at home in order to rest and get better. If the illness is longer than two days, please reach out to your child's teacher and the administration so that we can devise a plan to keep your child on track in the curriculum.
Students cannot be moved into an online class during an extended absence. Classroom cultures have been established and students are grouped and worked together based on the teacher’s relationship with the students.
Please, complete the Pre-arranged absence form and forward it to the school office.
