FIP

I'm coming back to my FIP time management strategy. For all of us time is a premium and organizing that time is essential. To FIP you will list out events that need to get done for the day. Then you will do a quick analysis of what MUST get done NOW and what will not....Prioritize the work and start with that first then move down the list. Many tasks can be pushed back to another day. The greatest challenge is being honest about what MUST get done and what can wait. Once we start FIPping....we will have more time for the events that matter.

Most all of you have set up a date for an observation and mentoring. If you have not scheduled an observation on the calendar and a follow-up meeting please do so soon. I would encourage you to schedule a few at a time. My calendar is current till Spring Break...I'll go past that date soon...

ETM's - don't neglect them

There are three types of ETMs and numerous titles from which to choose. ETMs can be completed online or in face-to-face sessions. Additionally, you have the option to go with your mentor for a half-day (sub provided) to observe effective peers for one ETM. A full listing of the ETMs available can be found at http://www.bluevalleyk12.org/etm.
