Thank You!
In The Know
PLC Minutes - Thank you to those of you who have share dthe PLC minutes from Friday. Please send them at your earliest convenience if you haven't yet. Many thanks!
Churchill Leadership Plan - JCAC met yesterday to discuss our school's leadership plan and it was approved. Please know that HR will try to get it in their November pay, but it is cutting really it really close. It may be December.
New Teacher - We are excited to welcome Daniel Lombardi into our Churchill family. We received additional FTE from the district to support class sizes and additional sections for departments that were overloaded. Whiel we are all overloaded, our greatest need based on numbers was in Social Studies and Language arts. We were extremely fortunate to be able to hire an exceptional candidate at this time of year. Please welcome Daniel Lombardi as he begins his journey with Churchill at the beginning of the second trimester.
Friendly Staff Competition - While I have been the target of many email phishing scams in the last year or two, I just wanted to send a heads up that next week we will be engaging the staff in a friendly competition to help bring the final week of school to a fun conclusion. You will be receiving emails from an outside person that will be giving you clues and fun tasks. Please look for these emails as they are intended to organize staff into a friendly competition and create an opportunity for some fun. We hope that you participate and enjoy this engaging challenge. On Friday Casandra, Misael, and myself would like to invite you to the Beer Garden for some staff social time. We will begin at 4:30pm. We are buying the first round. Cheers!

Girls Soccer - We are very proud of our girls soccer team for their accomplishments this year. You generated a significant level of school pride and fan support due to your teamwork and success. We are so excited for all that you accomplished. Thank you for such a great season.
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time - What a fantastic display of talent. I am proud of the work that Alex Patton has done in order to set students up for success. A Churchill Thespian Production is something special. Congratulations to the amazing students who worked so hard and brought so much to the stage: Ben Carson, Taiga Hadwen, Da'Mauryay Wright, Ejaiya Davis, Julia Middleton, Asher Brewer, Clover Cilley-Priem, Katey Hazen, Taz Jentzsch, Jac Johnson, Elise Laskey, Kate Patterson, Daran deCalesta, Sean Burke,Ruthanne Wilson, Duane Patton, Rowan Lovering, Torrye Torrance, Rogan deCalesta, and the families that provided support behind the scenes. Thank you for such an amazing show.
Thanks from Lance Eagen - Many thanks for all the folks who helped me out with donating old manila folders for a class art project. A special thanks to Leah Dunbar who supplied me with enough folders to last into the next century! Leah, your check is in the mail!
Zac Scotton - Is amazing. Did you know that he can shift in the moment to help support families? In a recent IEP Zac opened up his bag of Spanish skills and helped a family understand the IEP with his on the fly Spanish translation. Thank you Zac for your constant focus on families and students. You make the Churchill spirit thrive.
