Why The Body Needs Food
It provides materials for your body and your body needs materials to repair itself. Your body must be kept in balance for good health. Nutrients is also a thing needed in the body, here are some of the types of nutrients. Carbohydrates, Proteins, Lipids, Vitamins, Minerals, and Water. Fiber is a type of complex carbohydrates unlike sugar and starches it does not provide energy. There are two types of fiber, soluble fiber and insoluble fiber, insoluble fiber doesn't dissolve water but soluble fiber does dissolve water.
Vitamins and Minerals
of tissues. Vitamin D Needed for healthy bones and teeth. Vitamin D is made in the skin when it is exposed to sunlight. Minerals are chemical elements that are needed for body process. Minerals that are only needed a little amount of are iron, iodine, and zinc. These are some of the minerals that are needed in everyday life. Phosphorus Needed for strong bones and teeth. Calcium needed for strong bones and teeth. Potassium Needed for muscles and nerves to work normally. Sodium needed for muscles and nerves to work normally, and etc.
