It provides materials for your body and your body needs materials to repair itself. Your body must be kept in balance for good health. Nutrients is also a thing needed in the body, here are some of the types of nutrients. Carbohydrates, Proteins, Lipids, Vitamins, Minerals, and Water. Fiber is a type of complex carbohydrates unlike sugar and starches it does not provide energy. There are two types of fiber, soluble fiber and insoluble fiber, insoluble fiber doesn't dissolve water but soluble fiber does dissolve water.

Calcium needed for strong bones and teeth. Potassium Needed for muscles and nerves to work normally. Sodium needed for muscles and nerves to work normally, and etc.
