Women's History Month - and Women's History Year Round - Resources

Carrie Waterson, the Web Content Specialist for preschool through 8th grade asked me to let you the Kids’ Blog will have a post each day in March for Women’s History Month. The blog posts rotate through referring readers to eBooks featuring strong female characters, eComics showcasing 10 Featured Scientists from Women’s Adventures in Science, from the National Academies of Science and Medicine, and online Videos called Career Spotlights from

Besides the blog, Carrie also creates, curates, and cares about pages you can use for readers advisory and getting kids the information they need.

There are still 17 new titles on the GoodReads Available shelf. Nine of your school libraries have added 58 free books to your collections this way. Try to make checking the Available shelf part of your Friday afternoon or Monday morning routine!

Remember - these are FREE books. so do the the 15 of you who haven't signed up for GoodReads yet have really good book budgets?
