PTO CHILI COOK OFF THURSDAY, JANUARY 23, 2014
Please join us for a night of fun!!! We will begin judging at 5:45 and chili will be served at 6:30 p.m. The cost for adults is $3.00 and students $1.00. We will also have a silent auction that includes a variety of themed baskets. Each classroom has participated in a basket and the proceeds will go back to the classroom.
If you are interested in entering the Chili Cook-Off, please contact the office as soon as possible!

The World According to HUMPHREY!
Pick up your family reading book on Thursday at the Chili Cook-Off! If you are not able to attend, but want to join our Spring reading streak, please send a note or email Mrs. Sowell and the book will be sent home on Friday! Happy reading.

Energy Bus Information! Come and Ride with US!!!
Our students have been learning about the 5 Rules for the Ride of My Life! They are from a book that all of our students have read, The Energy Bus for Kids, by Jon Gordon. Ask your child about rule number one: Create a positive vision!
EASTSIDE PRIDE...showing excellence!
These students were nominated this week for EXCELLENCE. Students will earn an EASTSIDE PRIDE shirt on Mondays when they are nominated by their classroom teacher. This shirt is a great way for students to show their hard work!
Coke Rewards
Remember to send in your coke tops and cartons! The school has earned a lot of points for playground balls and jump ropes! Every point counts!
BOX TOP Competition
Congratulations to Mrs. Bibey and Mrs. Majors for being BOX TOP leaders this month!
We have a stuffed panther, General, who will be living in the classroom that turns in the most box tops each week. We have a great amount of box tops that come in and we want to increase that amount!!! Send in your box tops!
