END OF THE GRADING PERIOD AND REPORT CARDS

With our grading period ending on Tuesday, October 13th, ALL report cards will be processed and sent home with students on Friday, October 16th. This will give parents an opportunity to view the report card before attending conferences on either Monday, October 19th, Tuesday, October 20th or Thursday, October 22nd.

P/T CONFERENCES

You need to email Mrs. Bridges or myself if you need us to attend any P/T Conference. Let us know the date and time.


I will only be able to attend the Monday conferences. I will be at Master Principal Tuesday, October 20th through Friday, October 23rd.

Fantastic job this week with the Movie Night! It was a hit! I received so many emails and compliments on how parents and students LOVED Movie Night! Way to go team!

SPIRIT WEEK~ RED RIBBON WEEK

Homecoming Spirit Week- October 12th-16th:

Monday- Class Pride (wear your class t-shirt)

Tuesday- Tacky Tuesday (Tacky clothes or mix/matched clothes)

Wednesday- Wacky Hat Wednesday (wear your craziest or coolest hat)

Thursday- Throwback Thursday 80's (wear your best 80's outfit)

Friday- Panther Pride Day (Red and White Day)


Red Ribbon Week: October 26th-30th

Monday- I mustache you to be drug free (Mustache day)

Tuesday- Sock-it to Drugs (Mismatched or crazy socks)

Wednesday- Put a cap on drugs (Hat day)

Thursday-Our Class is Proud to Be Drug Free (Class Choice)

Friday- These Paws Don’t Touch Drugs! (Wear a PAW Pride shirt or your Class shirt)

LOCK DOWN DRILL

We will have our annual Lock-down drill on Monday, October 26th at 8:15. I will place a copy of the procedures in your box to review with the students. An automated message will be sent to all Southside parents on Sunday night to make them aware of the drill.


If you have any questions about the drill or the procedures please let me know before the drill.
