iread information from Mrs. Lau
iRead is on the way and we are thrilled with our student attendance at the iRead sessions. We have had 30+ children in the library reading at 8:10 and again during recess. Students are excited to read and the raffle prizes have been a big draw thanks to our PTO!
These sessions would not be happening without our parent support. THANK YOU so very much to all the parent volunteers who have signed up to allow for this opportunity for our students.
If your child wants to participate it's not too late. They may attend any session that works for them.
Please remember the following:
- Students must enter through the front door of the school.
- Students may not be dropped off before 8:10.
- All parent volunteers should arrive 5 minutes early and sign in with the office before heading up to the library.
- Encourage them to read or read to them.
- Assist them with keeping track of their minutes each day.
- Have fun!!
Good Luck to all of us!!

Did You Know?
In order to play in the snow, students must have all appropriate cold weather gear on. This includes snow pants, boots, hat and gloves. If these items are not at school, children will stay on the blacktop. Students will stay indoors for recess only if the windchill is below 15F.
As a friendly reminder, throwing snow is not allowed on the playground at recess.
