SO WHAT IS GOING ON AT WALL INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL?
Clubs
- This year Disc Golf Club was added to the list of many clubs that are offered at Wall Intermediate School. Braeden Treharne, a 6th grader at WIS, worked hard in the beginning of the school year to make this happen. He created a slideshow, met with the principals and got enough signatures from the students in order to get this club up and running. The club advisor is Mrs. Campisi and the club meets on Fridays after school from 3:00-3:50, weather permitting. The students seem to really enjoy Disc Golf Club and they are looking forward to getting back out there in the spring! If anyone is interested in joining the club, please contact Mrs. Campisi at dcampisi@wallpublicschools.org.
- Two of our orchestra students were accepted into the 2023 All Shore Orchestra: Colin Curry, viola (6th grade) and John Lemanowicz, bass (8th grade)
- On Saturday 600 students auditioned for CJMEA Region II Band, Orchestra and Percussion ensemble. CJMEA is also known as Region II of the New Jersey Music Educators Association (NJMEA) and consists of the following counties: Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Somerset and Union. Wall Township Intermediate is proud to have had several students audition for this extremely competitive band. Congratulations to Clarinetist Liv Perry on her acceptance into CJMEA Region Band! BRAVO!!
