On Friday, March 12th, join us for the Pep Assembly immediately following 6th period at 2pm! We'll introduce our current sports teams, see a great drill performance, and participate in another super fun Kahoot! Register for the pep assembly at https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_EOCaaatYRXOV3zoDFcsyNA or use the QR Code seen to the left. Whichever class wins the Pep Assembly/Spirit Week will earn a drive-through event for their class on March 17th--you'll get to be the first to see the Spirit Rock and your class will receive gift bags of goodies and prizes at this socially-distanced event! So, if you needed one more reason to get pumped up, here it is! Which class will it be? It could be ANYONE!
SPIRIT ROCK COMPETITION
BHS has a new Spirit Rock! ASB Officer Mackenzie Adams worked tirelessly to get the rock donated by Port Orchard Sand and Gravel and the installation by Hardcore Excavation and Construction. The class that wins the Pep Assembly will be the first to get to decorate it with their class colors! Plus, there is a competition to guess the weight of the rock. Fill out this form with your guess! The person who guesses closest to the actual weight will win points for their class, plus receive a prize of their own!
LADY KNIGHTS OPEN TENNIS COURTS
Attention Lady Knights that are interested in playing Tennis this year: there will be OPEN TENNIS COURTS next week at the BHS tennis courts. They will run from 2:30-4pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Bring your racket, mask and friends.
Beginners are welcome!
See you there,

WA STATE SEAL OF BILITERACY
Is your student proficient in a 2nd language? If yes, they may be eligible to earn up to 4 credits for their language skills. In addition, they may be able to earn the Washington State Seal of Biliteracy. The Washington State Seal of Biliteracy recognizes high school graduates who have attained a high level of proficiency in speaking, reading and writing in one or more world languages in addition to English. Students who score "Intermediate Mid" or higher will earn the Seal, and a notation will be places on the student's high school diploma and transcript indicating the student has earned the seal.
To earn the 4 credits and/or the Seal of Biliteracy, you need to register for the language testing at BHS. The test will be held April 29th at 9:00am in the BHS Library, and the deadline to register is April 2nd. Registration forms are available via the Main Office, BHS Counselors and with all World Language teachers.
