FEC Weekly News and Staff Meeting

November 10th, 2015

ECSE will no longer be administering the DRDP. With 171 pieces of evidence being collected per student, and the great amount of data already being collected for each student's numerous IEP goals, this is to much assessing for ECSE.

EI and MPP, you will still be using the DRDP. We will continue to look for ways to make this a less time consuming and more useful process. Be patient and we will get this!! :) I'm looking at times for the three of you to attend another training also.

This has been approved by Karrie and Dr. Cowherd.

Conscious Discipline/Family Night

Please see your email for the Family Night Schedule sent by Shannon. Staff members that were not part of the discussion yesterday, if you would like to volunteer please let me know. We could use help with child care, serving pizza, and popping and serving popcorn.

Carla has put in orders for supplies needed. We will call Little Caesars and get our order in next week. We will make a Wal-Mart run for any supplies still needed on Monday.

Family Night will take place November 19th from 5:30 - 7:00. See the CD committee if you have questions!

Intruder Training Part 2

Shannon from the Sheriff's office will be coming to see us on Monday, November 23rd, at 3:15. This will be our time to tour the building with him and ask him questions. Please don't forget to put any questions you still have into the questions page in Drive.

Thanksgiving Feast

I shared the results with you in email. Looks like it was a resounding yes to the feast. We will pull tables into the halls. When volunteers are setting up tables, we will try it both ways (separate halls or all together) and see which way works best. We will work on the menu this week so that everyone knows what to bring!

As for the Christmas season, I will pull our results together and we will have a short discussion soon to finalize.

Below is a google form to fill out to give us direction when planning our staff holiday celebration. Please click the link to go to the survey!

PAT Highlight

Our own PAT will be highlighted at the board meeting tomorrow night (November 11th) at 7:00. If you are able, please come and show your support!
