Mobile Weekly Update
5/2/2016 - 5/6/2016
MDDS (now Dupage Medical Group Endoscopy):
Here is a picture of the new doctors from DuPage Medical Group that will be doing procedures at MDDS starting on May 4th. Dr. Wang will be doing procedures on May 4th. Please introduce yourself and give them a warm Mobile welcome when you see them.
Dr. Morgan's last day was last week. Dr. Mann and Edin brought in goodies to celebrate his last day. He will still be doing procedures at the hospital and at the Naperville location.
Just a reminder to please dispose of the propofol in a 4x4 and NOT the garbage can.
Dr. Gaston had his mock accreditation survey last Friday. The surveyor followed a patient through the check in process, pre-op, procedure, and discharge. Overall, everything went great! Dr. Gaston asked the surveyor if it was okay to have the patient sign his discharge papers after they received anesthesia. Since the patients are awake and meet discharge criteria, it is okay to continue. Please be sure we are getting the discharge papers signed on every patient before they leave. Dr. Gaston is anticipating the accreditation to be sometime at the end of May.
Top Pain has a new staff member. They have a new MA, Crystal that will be in the back helping out. Dr. Chen's wife, Jun has also been helping out a lot.
We will be working on getting one of our blue carts for the procedure room. He also discussed putting a shelf and cabinets in the procedure room, to give us more space to put all of our stuff. We can also use the small metal table in the procedure room. Please be sure to pack everything away and put it in the storage room, if it's a next day pick up. Dr. Mehta said they will be working on getting the storage room organized to allow us more space. Let's do our best to keep all of our equipment nice and tidy! Thank you!!
PLEASE remember to turn off the oxygen before leaving!!
Just a reminder we will be taking badge pictures at the MD and RN meetings coming up in May!
Thank you to everyone who has shown the PR thread some love! Our clients really do appreciate the time and effort! Please remember to use the PR thread and upload your receipt in Nexus. Just a reminder we CANNOT bring anything to Sub GI.
A big shout out to our clinical support team for stepping up and being flexible! Jeff, Clark, and Jen rocked it this week! Thank you Jen, for making runs and packing teams. Thanks also to the girls (Bernadette, Ciero, & Tracy) for covering things on the back-end in the office. Please remember if you need anything, or have any issues with equipment, to please text the clinical phone. We will be sure it is communicated to the correct person.
