Principal's Message
Sunny Heights Families,
It has been a brief, but very eventful week. I appreciate the patience and understanding of our families as the inclement weather put our schools and families in a difficult position trying to balance safety and the need for learning to continue. I would also like to give a big shout out to our custodians, maintenance workers, and others that worked so hard to get our buildings cleared out and open for business!
We are quickly approaching very important assessment windows for 2021. All students will be taking the End of Year NWEA in February and March. All 3rd graders will be taking the IREAD-3 assessment the week of March 8th. The 3rd grade team is currently preparing for IREAD-3 and will be sharing more information soon.
Thank you and have a great weekend! Stay safe and warm!
Your Proud Principal,
Bart Lewis

It is time for families of our 1st grade VIRTUAL students to see what steps they should take if they would like for their child to be considered for Warren's High Ability Program in 2nd grade. To be considered, students must participate in NWEA and CogAT testing in person at designated times.

ALL STUDENTS - ATTENDANCE
For the 2020-2021 school year, Warren Township has transitioned to a new student information system called Synergy allowing our parents and caregivers to have improved access to school information through the parent portal called ParentVUE. We are aware that at this time some students’ attendance records are reflecting students are absent, when in fact they were present. This is mostly the case for our students who are attending school VIRTUALLY on application days or in the VIRTUAL opinion full-time. We want to assure you that teachers are keeping accurate attendance records and that we are working to correct attendance records for all our students.
