The LeaderShape Institute
Six intense days of dialogue and interactive self-discovery in a supportive Learning Community. The Institute challenges you to lead with integrity while working towards a vision grounded in your deepest values. You will explore not only what you want to do, but who you want to be. Dynamic, challenging, and exciting, the week is intended to produce a breakthrough in your leadership capacity--benefiting you individually, as well as your respective communities and the organizations you will go on to lead and serve in the future.
BreakAway
BreakAway is a national organization that gives college students the chance to serve in different capacities in varying cities across the United States. Denison's BreakAway Chapter offers several week-long service trips during the last week of Winter Break. Students have a unique chance to leave Denison and Granville to delve into some of the most pressing issue of our generation hands on. Trips in recent years have covered topics such as Education, Economics, and Civil Rights in the 21st Century.
Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity is an organization that helps build houses for those in need. During the Winter Break Trip, Habitat send volunteers off to different places within the U.S. with the purpose of helping build a house.
