Reading is the most important thing your child can do to ensure they keep their brain fresh for the upcoming school year. The 6th grade team at Neal will reward students who log their reading for the summer. Your child should have received their reading log with their report card packet in the mail. If you did not, please contact your child's teachers.

THIS WEEK Book Harvest will distribute free books for all students at Durham FEAST Meal sites. If you want to get your books directly from Neal staff, we will be handing our books at the Holton Career Resource Center site between 11:30 and 1:00 on Friday.

Student can pick anything they want to read for the summer reading challenge. Audible.com has TONS of free audiobooks & teachers will post reading material on google classroom. All they need to do to be rewarded is read and log their reading. Students will get raffle tickets to a school year celebration in August and possibly even a surprise home delivery of prizes.
