Heart of the City Day of Hope 2015 Report

E49 Corporation would like to thank every volunteer, church coordinator, sponsor and school representative who came together to make Day of Hope at American Legion High School successful this year! Thousands of individuals were blessed by the different needs that were met and the kindness shown by over 300 volunteers who came to love and serve. Below are a few pictures and highlights of the event.

We began the morning in prayer for the event.

Volunteers from Paul Mitchell School as well as local barbers provided free hair cuts.

Kids spent hours in the Kidz Zone playing carnival games, jumping on bounce houses and enjoying snow cones, face painting, and balloon animals

Families shopped for new and gently used kids clothing to start out the new school year with a new wardrobe.

Families had a blast dressing up and taking pictures at a photo booth provided by MorningStar Entertainment.

People even got pampered with foot washes/massages and pedicures!

Families received prayer in the prayer tent for their needs. 14 individuals chose to accept Christ and 19 requested assistance in getting connected to a local church.

These young men received prayer and chose to accept Christ. They received new bibles to begin their new relationship with Jesus!

Families left the event with a few bags of groceries which included fresh produce and bread.

Guests were also given a bouquet of flowers as they left. What a beautiful expression of love!
