Reflections
National PTA's Reflections program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts which boost student confidence and success in the arts and in life.
Each year, over 300,000 students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create original works of art in response to a student-selected theme. This 50+ year-old program helps them explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life.
The 2021–2022 Reflections theme is I Will Change the World By…
Students submit their completed works of art in one or all of the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts.
CAR RIDER REMINDERS:
Please be sure to have your yellow tag visibly displayed by hanging it from the rear-view mirror. It is difficult to see car rider numbers when they are on the dashboard, hidden behind items on the rear-view mirror, or even low on window shields. Please note that if you do not have your yellow tag, you will have to go inside with a picture ID to pick up your car rider. This is to ensure the safety of your children. Thanks for your support as we continue to work towards a fast and safe dismissal of students in the afternoon.
Homework Help @ the Public Library
Bring your homework and get free help from volunteers! Open to grades K-12.
Students can drop in during program hours to work with homework help volunteers on specific assignments or to build skills over time. We offer reading, language arts, and writing tutor help from 5-6 and math tutor help from 5-7. Open to grades K-12.
