Royals top off the Mets on Opening Day
The Kansas City Royals won their Opening Day game against the team they beat in the Word Series, the New York Mets. Eric Hosmer dove for a ball that was about five feet away, and saved 2 runs. The Mets had some errors and thats what the Royals scored off of. Wade Davis came in in the 9th inning and made sure the Mets didn't score any more runs.
The pitchers were Matt Harvey and Edinson Volquez. The two first and last pitchers of the World Series.The Mets were looking for revenge ,but the Royals were ready and they beat the Mets again. The Mets came to the Royals stadium which is called the K or Kauffman Stadium.
