BE YOU WEEK

October 28th-31st

Monday:

"To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment."

----Ralph Waldo Emerson

Be who you want to be, even if others are telling you to be someone different.

Tuesday:

"Always be yourself, Express yourself, and have faith in yourself. DO NOT go out and try to find someone else who is successful and try to be them."

---Bruce Lee

Just because someone you know is successful being a certain way, doesn't mean you have to be just like them. Find your own successes being you---be unique.

Wednesday:

"You need to love yourself and be yourself 100% before you can actually love someone else."

---Christina Perri

You must love the person you are before you can be a good friend, good son/daughter, good student, etc. Love who you are and happiness will come i other areas of your life.

Thursday:

"Always be yourself and rebel against what people tell you that you are supposed to be--be whatever you want to be."

---Andy Biersack

  • Choose your own path in life. Do what makes you happy, so you can be that person that makes others happy.
  • What do you see yourself doing in life? What career will make you happy?

SCHOOL WIDE DRESS UP DAY, OCTOBER 31st:

Students may dress up to show who they want to be when they grow up: what career choice will make you happy?
Students are invited to participate in the "All About Me Instagram" activity.

Those who do, will have their names placed in a drawing to win some of our prizes.

Parents, Teachers, and Students are invited to fill out the "Caught You Being You" passes anytime you see students being kind, helpful, and courageous throughout the day. Submit the completed passes to Mrs. Coker (SIS School Counselor). Those passes will be placed in a box, where names will be drawn during each lunch period to win a prize.
