In Writer's Workshop, we will begin to write our opinion pieces, write about the biographies we are reading. We will start our rough draft of why the school nurse is important.
In Science, we will continue experimenting with magnets.
In Social Studies, we are going to start our last lesson-Hometown. We will be discussing the history of our town.
In Math, we are continue to measure sides to determine perimeter of polygons, solve words problems to find perimeter when sides are unknown.
We have two members from the North Brookfield Historical Society coming in on Wednesday to discuss the history of North Brookfield. The women are retired educators and have been working hard to save the meeting house in the center of North Brookfield. The third grade is lucky to have them coming in because it relates to our final unit of study in Social Studies. We are looking forward to them coming in and getting some historical information about "our town".
