Identification Badges
SCCPSS dress code requires students to wear a school issued photo ID badge while at school and while attending school based activities. Badges are to be worn on a lanyard around each student's neck. If a student forgets to bring his or her ID to school, the student is responsible for acquiring a temporary ID badge in the media center. The cost of a temporary ID badge is $1, or the student may purchase with SOAR shells. Students may not attend field trips without the official badge.
Please remind your son/daughter to carry the ID badge every day.

What is IB All About?
Are you wondering what our IB program is all about? We will share a little bit of information each week.
Week 4: (Benefits)- The IB provides numerous benefits to its students. First, IB learners are continually encouraged to think independently and drive their own learning. Also, students have the opportunity to become more culturally aware, enabling them to engage with people in an increasingly globalized, rapidly changing world. In addition, IB students develop strong educational, social and emotional characteristics that make them more likely to perform well academically.

Sponsors Sought for our Robotics Teams
We have a great problem - Too many students for a robotics team! This year, we have enough students to form two robotics teams, and are excited to have one team full of our young ladies! Currently, we only have enough funding to register one team. We are hoping some parents and community businesses may wish to make a donation to help us register our second team and prepare for our teams to travel to competitions.
If you are interested in making a donation, or know someone who is, please contact our Administrative Secretary, Mrs. Rowland at 395-3950 or Margie.rowland@sccpss.com.
