Southeast Neighbors Meeting
Focus: South Willamette Street Improvement Plan
The Eugene City Council will vote soon to select a preferred design alternative for South Willamette Street to best accommodate driving, biking, walking, and transit on South Willamette Street between 24th and 32nd Avenues.
At the March meeting, Southeast Neighbors will host a discussion about what these designs could mean for our community. Ron Tyree and Scott Landfield will speak for 10 minutes representing the views of “4 Lanes 4 Willamette” and Josh Newman will speak for 10 minutes representing the views of “Willamette: A Place for Everyone.”A Q& A session will follow, moderated by Christopher C. Henry, Transportation Planning Engineer from the City of Eugene.
