Note from the Principal
Thank you for getting back to routines at home and getting everyone to bed at an early time. We appreciate your efforts. Sleep is critical for good school day! November is busy with the Veterans Day program for 3rd and 4th grade students, Spell Bowl Competition for our 4th Grade Spell Bowl Team, and our Fall Festival. Thank you for your continued support!

HONORING OUR VETERANS
WE NEED YOUR ASSISTANCE PLEASE
We have been providing reusable bottles and single bottles to students who have forgotten theirs, but our supply has run out. We will provide paper cups for those students who have forgotten their bottles.
Attendance/Late Arrivals/Doctor Appointment: Please call the office or attendance line to let us know if your student will be arriving to school late, or if they will be out all day. 317-915-4260.

Student Council Applications
Do you enjoy helping your school and community? Are you a leader in your classroom and among your peers? Two representatives will be selected from each third and fourth grade class. GES Student Council will be accepting applications next week! See your teacher on Monday if you are interested in applying for this position.
If You Are Having Trouble Loading the Safe Visitor Badge Barcode....
The app has a new look (pictured). Users will be asked to enter the visitor ID number when adding a badge/pass. The number is the 5 or 6 digit number under the photo on your existing badge.

Recreational Basketball News:
- Boys Basketball - Athletes in grades 2nd, 3rd and 6th will begin practicing this Saturday, October 30th. The 1st, 4th and 5th grade divisions will begin practice on November 6th. Please note the kindergarten division kicks off in January. More information here.
- Girls Basketball - Athletes in kindergarten – 8th grade will take to the courts beginning Saturday, November 6th, for their first practices. We are excited to welcome a record number of female athletes. The league is finalizing team assignments and players should expect to hear from their coaches by early next week.
*Co-ed high school intramural basketball information will be released at the end of November.
Spring Program Registration:
Mark your calendars! Registration for spring baseball, softball, soccer, boys and girls lacrosse, rugby and track and field opens January 1st at myathletics.com. Season information including divisions and program fees will be updated on our site at the end of December. Need a refresher over our registration periods? Find them here.

Hamilton Southeastern School District takes the safety of its students and staff seriously and fostering safe and supportive learning environments is a top priority across all our school buildings. HSE works closely with school buildings, the Fishers Police Department and area law enforcement agencies to protect our students, teachers, school leaders, and staff and to prevent emergencies before they arise.
HSE Report It! is a school safety mobile reporting app that allows students, staff, and community members to provide anonymous information about concerns for their own safety or the safety of others. HSE Report it!, can be downloaded via Google Play or the Apple App Store. It’s anonymous and reports are made exclusively through the mobile app. HSE Report it! will has no length limitations or the need to remember a short code. Reporters can attach photos, screenshots, videos, documents and/or audio recordings to their concerns and they can engage in a two-way dialogue with a real person.
