STUDENT DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP PROCEDURES
- We will have new cones out to help with flow of traffic.
- If you have students at both Forest View and Forest Lake Elementary, you can pick students up at the Forest View location. You do not need to come through both lines.
- The exit for drop off and pick up time is different and will hopefully help with the congested 5-way stop at the intersection of 4th street and 4th avenue.
- If you have friends, family or neighbors planning to drop off or pick up, please share these procedures with them as they may not be familiar with our school.
- Please refer to map below for updated procedures.
RAPID COVID TESTS: 1 BOX PER CHILD
- You can request a COVID rapid test for your student should he/she become symptomatic. The rapid tests are free. You will receive 1 box that contains 2 rapid tests. These tests have been provided to schools in MN and are for your convenience. All rapid tests must be administered at home by a parent. We do not test students at school.
- Use this link to request an at home test. COVID Test Request Form
- Students should remain home if not feeling well.
- Students are encouraged (not required) to wear high quality face coverings during the school day. The CDC and MN Dept. Health both recommend a medical 3-ply mask or KN95/N95 as preferable to a cloth face mask.

Shortage of bus drivers
- Learn your bus number! If any routes are canceled, a district-wide message will be sent to you saying bus # ?? is not going to be running that particular day.
- Make a contingency plan. Decide ahead of time what you will do if your bus route is canceled.
- If a route is canceled, students may still attend school if you can transport them.
- If families are not able to transport student(s), students should email their homeroom teacher for assignments for that day
