At Long Last!
In the afternoon, the new standards and framework will be considered as vertical discussions regarding shifts and implementation timelines will be the focus. The district has continued the subscription to the DBQ project, and in fact, has added literature units. In the planning, consideration should be given to whether DBQs identified for grade level and/or courses need to be shifted in alignment with the new standards. It is the expectation that students will write a minimum of two complete argument essays, using the DBQ six step process.
