Early Learners Highlights
February 11, 2022
Dear Early Learners Families,
On Monday our preschoolers will be participating in this month's school wide philanthropy project by decorating a fabric square that will be collected and turned into a blanket to donate to Project Linus. Project Linus is a wonderful organization that seeks to donate handmade blankets and afghans to children who are in need. You can read more about Project Linus here. Our students have really enjoyed this experience in the past, and we're delighted that the South Park PTO is supporting the return this year!
Have a wonderful weekend,

What's Happening in Early Learners?
This week we dove deeper into Black History Month. Classrooms focuses on famous black inventors, athletes, artists and more. We have been learning what segregation means and being fair. The kids have been making meaningful connections and are so inquisitive. Some classrooms learned about Gee's Bend and made a quilt to go along with it, while others learned about the inventor of shaving cream and got to experience this sensory activity!
We are excited for Valentine's Day on Monday, and have been practicing giving valentines to our friends! We can’t wait to give your kiddos an extra dose of love on Monday as we celebrate, have a great weekend!
