Reminder

IMPORTANT!!

Please be mindful of your shoes! Outside shoes are not allowed in the dance room. It tracks in sand and salt that degrades the floor. It also is very uncomfortable for our dancers that do floor work during class. Your outdoor shoes can be placed in the black bucket by the dance room door with the rest of your belongings.

Please drive slow during drop off and pick up, especially this time of year when it is darker earlier. If you have siblings and or family members that drive dancers to and from please remind them as well.

Viewing, Illness & Weather Policy

Costumes are continuously coming in, yay! This means if we have dancers trying on costumes, zoom will be off for privacy.

For illnesses, please follow the same policy as schools. If your child is not feeling well or has been exposed to an illness, please stay home. Make up classes are available.

The best way to report your dancer's absence is by logging it in your parent portal under attendance.

Curious if there is class due to the weather?!

We will cancel class due to weather 2 hours prior to opening.

Example: If the studio opens for the day at 4pm we will send out the cancellation around 2pm. If we don't post a cancellation that means We Are Open!

The studio may be open even if school is cancelled.

All cancellations will be posted on our website cancellation page, public & private Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, studio telephones and emailed to you. If you haven't already, please join our private studio members Facebook page! https://www.facebook.com/groups/CSDAStudioMembers

CSDA Family News

The Center Stage faculty loves to bring new ideas and education to CSDA! We consider ourselves Lifelong Learners and are excited at some of the opportunities we have in February to expand our knowledge.

Miss Tiffany is headed to Florida next week to learn and grow at Studio Owner University with More Than Just Great Dancing and doing double duty, representing and working for YPAD (Youth Protection Association For Dance) while she is there.

Miss Amanda Smith will be attending the Rising Leaders portion of Studio Owner University virtually with Studio Managers from all over the country.

Our whole faculty will be taking a month-long online master series class with one of our favorite tap educators this month, bringing new updates to our tap curriculum.

Here is what the CSDA dancers have been up to the past month:

Congratulations to Laura Gendron for making Athlete of the Week in January.

We are so proud of Erin Ryan and Molly Ryan for being inducted into the National Honor Society and Page Kenny for being inducted into the Foreign Language Honor Society for French. Congratulations!
