The Dominican Republic offers plenty variety of food! From sancocho to pollo guisado, you can find a wide variety of food to eat! Other popular foods include kipes, empanadas, mangu, tostares, flan, arroz habichuela y carne, chicharron, and concon!


As mentioned above, the capitol city is the very firth settlement in the western hemisphere, a great site for history enthusiasts! You can also visit the Northern Coast, home of the most beautiful amber in the world! After the Northern Coast, visit the Southern Coast to swim with dolphins and visit a theme park!


The Dominican Republic borders Haiti on the island of Hispaniola, which is located to the east of Cuba and Jamaica and west of Puerto Rico. On the Dominican Republic you will find beautiful mountains and beaches wherever you go!
