Block 6 at FHS: FCC ACCE 101 "College Success Tools"
In November, 16 LYNX scholars convened for our first "Block 6" class at FHS during Learning Lab Session 2 (4:20-5:20 p.m.). These students are officially enrolled as FCC students pursuing 1-credit for "ACCE 101 - College Success Tools" with Mrs. Ptak, FHS teacher and FCC adjunct professor.

Flexible and Personalized Education at FHS
Frederick High School operates on an extended daily schedule.
All FHS students (grades 9-12) can choose a traditional, staggered, or extended schedule for the 2019-20 school year.
Block 5 classes: Semester I - Fall 2019 (2:20-3:40 pm)

*Geometry - Ms. Ptak
*Modern World History: Ms. Pfeil
LYNX Learning Lab: Did you know?
All FHS students (grades 9-12) can come to the LYNX Learning Lab (media center) for tutoring, independent study, collaborative work, and guest presentations with LYNX partners.

Session I: 2:20 - 3:40 pm (daily)
FREE Dinner: 3:45-4:15 pm (daily) *bus at 4:15 pm
Session 2: 4:20 - 5:40 pm (T/W/R) *bus at 5:45 pm

Fast Fact
In first term, 13 LYNX scholars earned Fitness for Life credit by pursuing "Credit by Demonstrated Mastery" (CDM) with Coach Phil Rhodes.
