Athletes of the Week - May 9-14
Natty Lertkasem - Senior, Varsity Tennis
Natty, a four-year varsity player, has had an impressive year so far at No. 4 and No. 3 singles. As a first year singles player, Natty is 12-0 this season. She captured the No. 3 singles crown at the MAC Gold on Tuesday helping the Trojans to a 3rd place finish. She followed that up with another 6-1, 6-2 victory over visiting Ford on Wednesday.
Jack Smith - Junior, Varsity Track and Field
In his first year on the Varsity Track and Field team, Jack has made quite an impact in both throwing and running relays for the Trojans. Last week, Jack placed 1st in discus and 2nd in shot against league leader - Fitzgerald. He also was a part of the 2nd place 4x800 and 4x400 relay teams.
Thu May 19 - Track Regionals
Our girls and boys track and field team will participate in Track Regionals on Thursday May 19 at Bishop Foley at 12pm.
Thu May 19 - Tennis Regionals
Our girls tennis team will participate in Tennis Regionals on Thursday May 19 beginning at 8:30am
- Singles matches will take place at Bloomfield HS
- Doubles matches will take place at Sacred Heart HS
Sat May 21 - Lacrosse Districts
Our co-op Lacrosse team (Clawson-Bishop Foley-Lutheran North) will participate in MHSAA districts on Saturday against Shrine HS at Shrine at 5pm.
Wed May 25 - Soccer Districts
Our girls soccer team will take on Ann Arbor Father Gabriel Richard on Wednesday May 25 in the
first round of MHSAA district play at 4pm at the Backyard Field.
- District Semifinal Games will played on Wednesday June 1 at 5:30 and 7pm at the City Park field
- District Final Game will be played on Friday June 3 at 6pm at Clawson City Park
Tue May 31 - Golf Regionals
Our boys golf team will travel to West Short Golf CC to participate in the Golf Regionals on Tuesday May 31 at 8:30am.
Tue May 31 - Softball Districts
Our varsity softball team will participate in the first round of MHSAA district play on Tuesday May 31 against Bishop Foley at Foley at 4:30pm.
- District Semifinal on June 4 at Algonac at 12pm
- District Final on June 4 at Algonac at 2pm
Sat June 4 - Baseball Districts
Our varsity baseball team will participate in the District Semifinal on June 4 at 12pm against Madison at Clawson City Park.
- District Final will be June 4 at 2pm at Clawson City Park
All student-athletes in High School and Middle School must have the following in order to participate in athletics at CHS and CMS:
- Current Physical (dated on or after April 15, 2022)
- PlanetHS.com account (click here for video on how to do this)
- Athlete Code of Conduct (on PlanetHS.com)
- Pay to Participate
