Principal's Message
Good Evening Weymouth High School Community,
Happy Fathers’ Day to all the fathers and role models in our community. Monday, Juneteenth honors the end to slavery in the United States and is considered the longest-running African American holiday. It is essential to acknowledge and celebrate this important milestone in our nation’s history.
Congratulations to all students for finishing this school year strong. We are looking forward to next school year, but please take time to relax, recharge, and spend time with family and friends. We look forward to working with you next year. We will not send a Sunday message over the summer, but we will send periodic updates to families as needed.
Summer Reading
We have prepared a comprehensive Summer Reading presentation for families to view. The WHS Library will be open 6/12 - 6/16 next week for Summer reading book checkouts. Due back on 9/5/23. This Summer Reading will be assessed in the first 10 days of school in September and will count for 5% of the student’s 1st quarter ELA grade. Please note: if a student does not complete their Summer Reading, it will negatively impact their ELA grade in September. If you prefer a list view instead please see this link.
