Into the wild
Into Mexico
(Part 1)
Dear Diary,
Hey again, just reached the Morelos Dam near the Mexico border. Been using my canoe which I bought somewhere where I can’t remember. Anyway, I’m a bit worried that I would get denied entry just because I don’t have any ID, hoping for the best. So I’m camping along the edge of the dam and actually getting a little lonely, but whatever I’ll be fine. I’m trying to find Wellteco Canal and I plan to head south hopefully making it to Mexico.
Wish me Luck.
-Chris.
(Part 2)
Hey again,
Finally found Wellteco Canal, it was so hard to find and I actually had to carry my canoe for three days to find it. I’m in a lot of pain and really need to sleep, I’m really worried that this won’t go very well but what is keeping my on my toes is the fact that Mexicans are so warm, friendly people compared to Americans…
Write Soon.
-Chris
(Part 3)
Hi,
My plan failed, Wellteco Canal didn’t reach the ocean but into a swamp. I’m so annoyed right now! The canal had small but dangerous waterfalls, for a second I thought I wasn’t going to make it out alive. My plan now is to camp around this swamp until I’m feeling 100% and then try and make it out. I’m so stressed out; nothing has gone wrong until now. I really don’t know what to do.
Bye.
-Chris.
Time a Bullhead City
2.
Dear Diary,
I'm feeling quite happy today, I’ve been in Bullhead City for nearly 2 months… Record right?! Anyway just to update you, I’ve gotten a job at the local McDonalds only downside to the job is that fact that the people I work with are pretty nasty. They seem to enjoy talking about me behind my back but whatever I’ll be out of here soon, plus it’s not like their opinions matter to me especially Lori the assistant manager. The first month in the city I lived out of my backpack and camped on the edge of town, I wasn’t complaining it was actually pretty good. So anyway this man Charlie saw me shaving in the public bathroom one morning, he actually offered me a place in this trailer at the front of his house. There are still some good people in the world. Enjoying my stay right now, nothing too stressful on my hands, it’s quite nice getting out of the wilderness for a couple of days or in this case months to meet actual nice people… obviously besides those who I work with. Anyway going to read my book then head to bed.
See you soon.
-Chris
- this is a picture of the trailer i stayed in, not much but it was home for a while.
