Welcome to Family Faith 2021!
Happy New Year! We are truly grateful that you have chosen Holy Family Parish’s Family Faith Program to continue to grow your family's spiritual learning!
Our virtual religious education program incorporates spiritual growth and learning for family members of all ages. The monthly zoom meetings and weekly newsletters include activities that promote discussion and learning. As parents, it is our role to model and teach our faith to our children. Holy Family Parish values and appreciates parents as they are the most important teachers to our children. Family Faith provides parents the resources to become our children’s most important spiritual role models in faith.
Our January Family Faith Zoom Meetings begin the week of Sunday, January 24. Together with your children, please join the zoom session for the class that you are registered for. These links will also be sent in an email reminder prior to the session. We look forward to see your family online!

Mass Readings for Sunday, January 24: Third Sunday in Ordinary Time
In this weekend's Gospel, Mark shares the story of Jesus' first disciples, which begins his public life. God makes his presence known in the person of his Son, Jesus. Through this Gospel, it is clear how Jesus establishes true justice, with compassion for all of humanity. But He needs help to bring this about, so he calls disciples to follow Him. And the responses of Simon, Andrew, James and John are immediate as they marvel at Jesus’ captivating personality, evoking this immediate, unconditional response to follow Him.
Anyone can be a disciple! Lavished gifts or high levels of education are not requirements to be a disciple of Jesus! What matters is availability and a willingness to follow where Jesus leads. Discipleship also involves a change in our values until they measure up to the values of Jesus. This is not only an amazing, honorable responsibility, but also a privilege!
Let's Get Started!
To grow our faith, it is important to come together to share ideas and help to support our children. Our Family Faith Program consists of:
- Monthly Zoom Meetings provide interactive family activities based upon the theme of the month.
- Weekly Family Faith Newsletter coincides with the Sunday Mass Readings to support a deeper understanding of the Readings and messages from the Bible.
- Weekly Family Form Surveys are included in each week's Newsletter. Please use the activities in the Newsletter to complete and submit these forms with your children.
Similar to last year, participation in Family Faith will be based upon attendance at monthly class zoom meetings and Weekly Family Form Surveys. The schedule for our monthly class zoom meetings are listed below. As a family, please complete this week's Family Form Survey using the link below.
It is important that we have your child's up-to-date records of sacraments. If you have not yet submitted records of sacraments or payment, your child's registration is not complete. To complete the registration process, please call Jennifer and Lizette at the Parish Office: (732) 545-1681 ext 101 or 102.
As we follow New Jersey's COVID regulations and CDC protocols, we hope the state of the pandemic improves so that we can soon meet in our monthly sessions in person and together!
Uplift Video of the Week!
Good Job
The work of essential workers, teachers, and parents have been difficult, overwhelming, and most challenging throughout these past few months. To share a message of appreciation, the One Voice Children's Choir sings Alicia Key's song, "Good Job-A Tribute to Covid-19 Heroes," communicating the message of support:
You are not alone, you matter, and you are doing a Good Job.
As parents and workers throughout this past year living through this world-wide pandemic, we can all relate to the images and words in this video. The One Voice Children's Choir wants us all to know...
"We invite anyone who is struggling to hear us. We’re thankful for these unsung heroes and all who are doing their best in these unprecedented times.
