Week of October 19th Group B Week

Monday, Oct. 19th Will be a Distant Learning Day for Students

The Scituate School Department will participate in a teacher professional development day on Monday, October 19th. All students at SHS will distant learn. Students will not join a live meet and their teachers have posted assignments for the day in each google classroom.

Spirit Week The Student Council is excited to be hosting a two-part Spirit Week beginning this Wednesday, October 21st. All students are encouraged to participate whether from home or school. All outfits must be school appropriate. For more information please visit the Student Council Instagram Page (@studentcouncilshs).

Pep Rally This year, while we can’t gather together in person, we will gather in spirit. The Student Council is excited to announce its plans for a Virtual Pep Rally during the upcoming October Spirit Week. The Pep Rally will be released as a pre-recorded video on October 28th. All clubs, sports teams, faculty departments, classes and class officers are invited and encouraged to create a brief video celebrating school spirit and unity. These videos will be compiled and edited into a final product shared on social media. Submissions are asked to follow the guidelines in the attached document.

Halloween Drive In Movie Night Vote

Halloween Drive-In Movie Night The Student Council is planning a Drive-In Movie Night for October 29th and would like student input on what film to show. Please vote via the attached form.

Window Painting Attention Freshmen!

Freshmen Window Painting The Student Council is seeking student input and volunteers for this year's window painting. Freshmen students are asked to complete the attached form to vote on themes and to volunteer to participate in painting.

Underclass School Picture Day Tuesday Group B!

Students in grades 9-11 will take their school pictures outside of the school on October 20th (rain date of the 21st) and October 28th (rain date of

October 29th)

H & I photography mailed home picture forms to be completed before picture days

We are still looking at dates for our senior picture date and also our distant learners

Senior Reminders for Halloween

As in the past, ONLY seniors will be allowed to dress in costume for Halloween, if they so choose. Costumes must be school appropriate; no full head coverings, and no props that could be used or mistaken for a weapon. Students should still wear their cloth covering mask.

Senior may dress in costume on Friday, October 30th and Monday, Nov. 2nd
