~Unit 12 Objectives

Students will:

  • read to a minimum guided reading level of B with 90% accuracy by the end of the 3rd six weeks.
  • identify a section as realistic or fantasy and explain why using textual evidence.
  • use comparative language to compare numerals from 1 to 10; and
  • develop the concept of zero and represent numbers from 0 to 10 with numerals.
  • create a product that provides examples of how the use of their senses experience light, heat, and sound energy with at least 85% accuracy.
  • understand that holidays are celebrations of special events;
  • explain the reasons for celebrating Veteran’s day.
