Mrs. Lyons' Class Week 28

Math, Science, Social Studies

March 15th-17th

Welcome back!

As you may have seen, an email went out today that school resumes tomorrow.

I hope everyone is okay and ready to come back. Do not worry about the "Vote for Me" poster if you have not completed it or it was lost/damaged. If you have it, please feel free to send it. If you have not, the students can make one in class. No worries this week.

We will elect our class president one day this week depending on attendance.

Report cards will go home on Thursday.

No Yoga on Tuesday

FYI - If your child attends after school yoga, you may not be aware, but the sweet yoga instructor Mrs. Hammons lost everything in the flood. Please consider sending her your love during this difficult time.

As of now, it looks like we will still be out Friday for parent conference day. Ms. Crowson and I will send emails out to those who missed their conference due to the weather for rescheduling.

Test Schedule

Thursday is St. Patrick's Day! Wear green if you can! We will have a St. Patrick's FUN day with math games and lessons on St. Patrick and Ireland. We will have a pep rally at 2:30 at the lower school playground.

Social Studies

We will continue with the voting process this week in addition to having our originally planned lesson on St. Patrick's Day.

This week we will continue our lessons on simple machines and magnets with readings from our textbook as well as some exploration activities with magnets. Lesson activities will be for a daily grade.
