Dear Parent,

Parents, you can help your child succeed academically by helping them. Like a coach, you can keep your child motivated and provide tips to keep them on track. Below are some helpful hints to help you help your child!

1. Create a set time for school

Talk with your child to determine the BEST learning time for him/her. Create the schedule TOGETHER. Students are expected to spend the same amount of time on their work as they would in a face-to-face school (5 hours class time + study/homework time).

2. Help your child stay organized and ontrack by reviewing the schedule with them.

At the beginning of the day look at the course schedule talk with your child to preview what needs to be done that day. At the end of the day look at your child's grade book to review these items were completed. If they were not completed discuss why not and seek help from the teacher if needed.

3. Communicate with the teacher and encourage your child to do the same.

Call the teacher if you have questions, comments or any any help ASAP. Don't let it fester.

4. Check your Parent Auditor Account

The parent auditor account is for parents to monitor student progress. The link below provides more help regarding that account.

5. Share Accomplishments

Create a rewards system to keep your child motivated.
