- Improve the ability to recover quickly from training and competition.
Athletes need to drink at least 8 bottles of water a day.
It's important to drink more water, the longer your exercise is.
Powerade and Gatorade are sport drinks that are helpful because they provide the body with electrolytes.
Other Fact Of Hydration.
When working out, the body will sweat. It is important to drink a lot of fluids in order to make up for the sweat lost during workouts. Athletes need the fluids more because of the constant strain on the body.
