Lead with empathy
Pride month
This June, our school reiterates its commitment to creating a safe, caring, and respectful environment for all students, families, and staff. We celebrate and recognize Pride month to commemorate the Stonewall riots, recognize the global impact that the LGBTQIA2S+* community has had, and advocate for actionable steps to affirm and amplify the voices of our own LGBTQIA2S+ community.
Here are some resources for you to use in your classrooms and school communities.

chancellor's day reminder
For Chancellor's Day on June 8th, we will program live events/PD. Per the superintendent, all staff must be in person, and everyone will report to the main site.
Please plan to participate in the live programming, unless you are attending a pre-approved, subject-specific PD (or you are setting up for prom). If this is the case, please make sure Richard and your supervising AP are aware.
If you enrolled in the Beyond Access Forum, please plan to only attend sessions from 8:00-9:00 am or from 1:00-2:30 pm.
Thank you.

From Rachel Campbell:
Wanted to share this post from Zeno Mountain Farm https://www.instagram.com/p/Cs_7j9sPtXG/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== (photo permissions were obtained).
I am so grateful to all the support, both behind the scenes and in-person, for this trip. It was so empowering and celebratory for all participants (staff and students!), and I can't wait to further this collaboration with Zeno so that more students can get this opportunity! Thank you all!!!
Special shout-out to Ms. Mayra, Ms. Welcome, Ms. Beache and Ms. Cailin, who were all so present, supportive, and celebratory of all students (24/7!!!) - I can't imagine doing it without them! And shout out to Courtney for working so hard all year to advocate for this retreat for our students.
I already can't wait for next year 🙂

Congratulations to our Master's in Education graduates! It's incredibly hard to teach full time and attend grad school, but you all made it look easy.
